Patient Confidentiality

We respect your right to privacy and keep all your health information confidential and secure. It is important that the NHS keeps accurate and up-to-date records about your health and treatment so that those treating you can give you the best possible care.

This information may be used for management and Audit purposes. However, it is usually only available to, and used by, those involved in your care. You have the right to know what information we hold about you. If you would like to see your records, please call our practice manager, Rebecca Green.

Non NHS reports/medical fees

Not all medical services are free to NHS patients. This includes employment medicals and insurance reports, travel insurance cancellation reports as examples and GP’s are entitled to charge for their completion

C-Card Scheme

The Woodlands Practice is now offering free condoms as part of the C-Card scheme. This means that young people aged 14-24 who have a C-Card, can collect condoms from the reception desk.

The Bromley Local Offer

The Bromley Local Offer is a web based directory for parents and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities aged 0 – 25yrs informing about education, health and social care services that are available to them across Bromley. Families and young people may need help to access useful information about the additional support available when moving from children’s to adult services.

The Bromley Local offer provides this access along with guidance and signposting to a range of Bromley NHS community services. It’s a resource to direct families needing advice or information about special educational needs and disabilities support for:


Speech, language and communication

Physical difficulties and sensory needs

Sight and hearing loss

Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health

Alongside services such as:

Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy

Special Dentistry

14+ Annual health checks

Community health support
